PM-KISAN Complaint — Instalment Not Received and How to File
Almost every PM-KISAN grievance is an instalment that has not arrived, and almost every one of those has a cause you can check yourself before you complain.
- Who to contact first
- PM-KISAN’s own grievance facility, with your state and district agriculture officials handling verification underneath it.
- How to reach them
- File at pmkisan.gov.in/grievance.aspx using your Aadhaar or registration number, or call 155261 or 011-24300606. A reference number is issued.
- How long to wait
- No fixed redress period is published. Note the reference number and the date.
- If they ignore you
- Take the reference to your district agriculture office, which handles beneficiary verification, and file on CPGRAMS in parallel for a 21-day norm.

PM-KISAN does not run an official WhatsApp number, Telegram group or social media helpline. Any account claiming to be an unofficial PM-KISAN helpline on those platforms should be treated as a scam, particularly if it asks for your Aadhaar, bank details or a fee to release an instalment. Nothing about this scheme costs money, and no genuine official will ask you to pay to receive it.

The escalation ladder, level by level
Work through these in order. Every forum above asks what you did below, and skipping a rung is the commonest reason a complaint is sent back.
- 1Self-check on pmkisan.gov.inWait Immediate
Check your own beneficiary status first — most instalment failures have a visible cause.
Look for eKYC status, land seeding status, Aadhaar–bank seeding and any rejection reason. Fixing the cause is usually faster than complaining about the symptom.

How the process runs
- 1Check beneficiary status first
Most instalment failures show a cause on pmkisan.gov.in — eKYC pending, land seeding incomplete, Aadhaar–bank mismatch, or a rejection reason.
then: fix the cause if you can - 2File the grievance
At pmkisan.gov.in/grievance.aspx with your Aadhaar or registration number, or on 155261. A reference number is issued.
then: if verification is the blocker - 3District agriculture office
Verification is done by state and district officials, so this is usually where a stuck case is actually cleared. Take the reference and your land records.
then: if nothing moves - 4CPGRAMS in parallel
Adds a 21-day norm and a 30-day appeal window that the scheme route does not publish.
What this system will not take up
Filing one of these wastes the whole period — it is closed on that ground alone.
- Anything pending before a court.
- Eligibility policy itself — who qualifies is set by scheme rules, not decided by the grievance facility.
- A claim for compensation or interest on a delayed instalment.
- Requests routed through unofficial WhatsApp or Telegram accounts, which are not scheme channels at all.
What to have ready before you complain
Assemble these first. A complaint that opens with the identifying numbers gets routed; one that opens with how long this has been going on gets a template reply.
- Your Aadhaar number or PM-KISAN registration number.
- A screenshot of the beneficiary status page showing the failure reason.
- The bank account number and IFSC the instalment should reach.
- Land records showing the holding, where verification is the issue.
- The instalment period missed, and the date the last instalment was received.
- The grievance reference number issued when you filed.

Common complaints handled here
Who runs this, and who is above it
Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India
PM-KISAN is centrally funded but beneficiary verification is done by state and district officials, which is why an instalment can stop for a reason no central helpline can fix. That split is the single most useful thing to understand: the helpline can tell you the cause, but the district office usually has to clear it.

Frequently asked questions
What is the PM-KISAN helpline number?
The published numbers are 155261 and 011-2430 0606, with 1800-115-526 also listed. Grievances can equally be filed in writing at pmkisan.gov.in/grievance.aspx against your Aadhaar or registration number, which is the better route for anything you may need to follow up, because a reference number is issued and the complaint exists on the record.
My PM-KISAN instalment has not come. What should I check first?
Your own beneficiary status on pmkisan.gov.in, before complaining. Most instalment failures show a visible cause there: eKYC pending, land seeding or verification incomplete, Aadhaar not seeded with the bank account, or a rejection recorded at verification. Fixing the cause is usually far faster than filing a grievance about the symptom.
Who actually clears a stuck PM-KISAN case?
Usually the district agriculture office, not the central helpline. PM-KISAN is centrally funded but beneficiary verification is carried out by state and district officials, so a case stuck at land-record verification or eligibility checking has to be cleared locally. The helpline can tell you the cause; the district office is where the cause gets removed.
Is there a PM-KISAN WhatsApp helpline?
No. PM-KISAN does not operate an official WhatsApp number, Telegram group or social media helpline, and accounts claiming to be one should be treated as fraudulent — especially any that ask for your Aadhaar, bank details or a payment to release an instalment. The scheme costs nothing and no genuine official will ask you to pay to receive it.
How long does a PM-KISAN grievance take?
No redress period is published for the scheme’s own grievance facility, so note the reference number and the date you filed. Filing the same facts on CPGRAMS in parallel gives you a period you can rely on — 21 days with an interim reply if longer, and 30 days to appeal after disposal.
Is filing a PM-KISAN complaint free?
Yes, entirely. The helplines, the grievance portal, the beneficiary status check and CPGRAMS all cost nothing, and no agent or middleman is needed. Anyone asking for a fee to register you, to fix your eKYC or to release an instalment is not acting for the scheme.
