Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don’t have to re-enter your credentials on every page.

Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or access files on your device. Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can configure your browser to decline or delete them (see Section 6).

GetNyay uses cookies for two purposes: (1) essential authentication and platform operation, and (2) analytics to understand how users interact with the Platform. We do not use:

• Advertising or ad-targeting cookies
• Cross-site tracking cookies that follow you across other websites
• Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Third-party behavioural profiling cookies

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are loaded with your consent. Essential authentication cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be declined while using authenticated features.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. You cannot use the authenticated features of GetNyay without them.

GetNyay uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with the Platform — for example, which features are used and which pages are most visited.

To be precise about how the consent works: no Google script is loaded until you accept.Not the tag, not a cookieless measurement ping, nothing. If you decline, it stays that way and no request is made to Google at all for as long as that choice is stored on your device.

This is worth spelling out, because the usual way to build a cookie banner — Google’s “advanced” consent mode — loads the tag straight away and keeps sending Google cookieless pings even after someone clicks Decline. We do not do that. On an accept, GA4 loads and measures normally with IP anonymisation on and no advertising signal requested or granted. The site sends to two Analytics properties, which is why accepting sets two _ga_ cookies rather than one.

• Analytics data is collected in aggregated form — individual user profiles are not built for advertising
• No cross-site tracking or advertising profiles are created from this data
• IP addresses are anonymised (IP anonymisation is enabled in GA4)
• We do not use Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or other social media trackers
• GA4 data is processed by Google LLC. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with their components:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — Sets _ga and _ga_XXXXXXXX cookies for analytics measurement. Loaded only with your consent. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• SaaSCity — The footer shows a badge image hosted at saascity.io, so your browser requests that image and saascity.io sees your IP address and the page you were on. It sets no cookie on this site.
• Vercel, Inc. — Our hosting provider may set technical cookies for platform delivery and edge caching. These do not track individual user behaviour.

We have no control over the specific implementation of third-party cookies. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of each third party if you have concerns.

When you first visit GetNyay, a cookie consent banner is shown. You can:

• Accept — analytics consent is granted, GA4 begins measuring, and the _ga cookies are set.
• Decline — analytics consent stays denied, no analytics cookie is set and no identifier is stored for you. Every feature on the site still works.
• Change your mind — clear this site's data in your browser. The banner appears again on your next visit and you can answer differently. You can also opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling analytics cookies (if any) will not affect your ability to use the Platform’s core features.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our cookie practices or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
