Contact GetNyay
We publish document formats, legal procedures and grievance contacts that people use to act — to send a notice, to file a complaint, to reach the right officer. If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or unclear, it can cost somebody time they do not have. So we would rather hear about it than not.

Report an error
This is the message we most want to receive. If a format is wrong, a section number has changed, a timeline no longer matches the rules, or a grievance contact bounces, tell us and we will fix it.
Three things make a report actionable:
- 1The page URL. Copy it from your address bar. It tells us exactly which of several hundred pages you mean.
- 2What is incorrect. What the page currently says, and what it should say instead.
- 3The official source, if you have one. A link to the bare Act, the regulator’s own page, the company’s published grievance page, or the government portal.
We verify against primary sources. That means the bare Act as published on India Code, the official regulator or ministry page, the company’s own published grievance page, or the government portal itself. We do not treat another website’s version of a rule as evidence, however confidently it is written — and we would rather correct a page slowly and correctly than quickly and wrongly. How we source and check everything is set out in our editorial policy.
Send us a message
Fill this in and we will format the email for you. Every field except the page URL is needed before we can send it.
What happens next
One person reads every message that comes in. That gives us honest limits, so here is what we will and will not promise.
We always reply to these
- Error reports — including ones that turn out to be wrong, so you know it was checked
- Reports that a contact detail or timeline is out of date
- Press enquiries
- Advocate reviewer enquiries
We read these, but cannot always reply
- Suggestions for improving a page
- Requests for a new document or tool
- Partnership and commercial enquiries
Every one of them is read, and a good suggestion often shows up on the site later even if no reply went out.
| Message type | Typical reply | Reply guaranteed? |
|---|---|---|
| Error report | Within 5 working days | Yes |
| Out-of-date contact or timeline | Within 5 working days | Yes |
| Press enquiry | Within 3 working days | Yes |
| Advocate reviewer enquiry | Within 5 working days | Yes |
| Suggestion for a page | Within 10 working days where we reply | No |
| New document or tool request | Within 10 working days where we reply | No |
| Partnership or commercial | Within 10 working days where we reply | No |
A correction that needs a primary source re-checked can take longer than the reply does. Where that happens we will say so rather than go quiet, and where a correction is material we note it on the page itself.
Write to us directly
You do not have to use the form. Any mail app will do, and a plain description of the problem is always enough to start.
This is the only contact address for GetNyay. We have no phone line and no live chat, and nobody is authorised to collect money or documents in our name.
Who reads these
Deepak Middha, founder and editor of GetNyay. He is a Chartered Accountant — not a lawyer — and he builds the tools, edits the pages and maintains the directory data himself. Content is checked by him against primary sources: the bare Act, the regulator’s own page, the government portal.
No practising advocate reviews this content at present. We would like that to change, and until it does every substantive page says so on the page itself rather than leaving you to guess. The editorial policy sets out the position in full.
About Deepak MiddhaWhat we are not
People often arrive at this page because they think they have reached someone else. To be completely clear:
We are not a government body
GetNyay is a private, independent website. We are not a ministry, a regulator, a court, an ombudsman office, or a consumer commission, and we cannot register, receive or forward a complaint to any of them.
We are not affiliated with any company or authority in our directory
We publish grievance officer details compiled from official published sources so you can reach the right desk. Being listed here does not mean a company or authority has any relationship with us — and writing to us does not reach them.
We are not a law firm
We do not give legal advice, we do not represent anyone, and using this site creates no lawyer–client relationship. Our documents are starting drafts that a qualified advocate should review before anything contested is filed.
If you are looking for the company or authority you have a dispute with, our grievance officer directory lists their own published contacts. The full disclaimer explains the limits of everything we publish.
